Space Security Conference Experience

Recently, I went to a space security workshop hosted by the George Washington University Space Policy Institute. It was such an amazing experience to learn how much the world is involved in space policy and how there is more to space policy then just national defense and exploration.

At the workshop, I had the priveilege of listening to esteemed researchers in the field ranging from Dr. Clay Moltz, Dr. Xavier Pasco, as well as the organizer for the conference, Dr. John Logsdon, the director of the Space Policy institute at George Washington University. Each of these speakers explained how the world has different perspectives on how space should be utilized as well as different approaches to space policy.

It was truly a remarkable experience to be able to go to Washington and listen to these distingushed speakers and I hope to attend more events that study space policy and how the United States interacts with other global partners with regard to space policy.
